Affiliate marketing is advertising online other people’s products rather than products you have created. The good thing with this type of marketing is you can make cash by advertising products. You do not have to spend time creating a product to sell you have one ready to promote already. You can spend your time in product promotion and not product creation. But if you are a one who eventually wants to create your personal product to promote and sell you can use affiliate marketing to increase your sales.

This way you are making money from both sides of affiliate marketing. When you have a product like an e-book or other product in digital form and you want to promote and sell it online for let us say fifty dollars you can go around by yourself and try to sell as many copies as possible. You earn fifty dollars with each sale. But let us say you look for affiliates to promote and sell your product for you and you share a commission with them.

You will now only earn twenty five dollars per sale but with many more people promoting your product you will have many more sales than if you worked alone. You want as many affiliates working with you as possible. Once you are ready with your product try to get as many affiliates as possible promoting your product to increase your sales.

But until then you can promote for other people. You will want to recommend products to other people; that what affiliate marketing is all about. Therefore you will want to try the products out yourself before you start promoting them.

If you trust the product yourself you will have no problem promoting it to others which you can do with or without a website. You should aim for a high page ranking for affiliate website so do some SEO work on it; which stands for search engine optimization. But you do not need a website to do affiliate marketing. You can build a blog and write about affiliate products and then have a link on your blog where people can click and go to that product’s website.

You can just start an adwords campaign with Google to advertise your affiliate products on their sponsored listing on their search engine results. You can go to clickbank, the most well known affiliate networks.

You create an account with clickbank and then search for a product you want to promote as an affiliate. You will receive your affiliate link which identifies you as the affiliate who will get the commission when someone buys the product.

Start a Google adwords account. Watch the adwords video lessons on how to start an adwords campaign. You then are able to advertise your affiliate product link on the Google search engine results. This is an easy way for you to advertise affiliate products. This is one way to make money as an affiliate and not use a blog or a website.
