Why is it that so many of us aspire to be successful online entrepreneurs yet 97% of us inevitably fail???

Starting an online business today is so important that you go in with some existing knowledge before throwing yourself into it. Whether you are familiar online or not, it is critical you have some coaching or guidance.

A month or so ago I wrote an article on my website about the “Why We Do What We Do” and why it is important to know what exactly it is that is motivating us to make a living online. The principle of the article covered some of the reasons why people start an online business, and why they may fail even before they start.

These two reasons are the reason 97% of online business fails.

1. Run out of money.

2. No Traffic/Leads (which means no income)

Both can actually be avoided, and I am going to cover that, but first I am going to briefly cover what I did.

When I first got into internet marketing I blew what money I did have at the start on Google Ad words. I had the belief I couldn’t go wrong with Ad words, however I quickly discovered that not to be the case. So I was left with the only option I could find at that was do it yourself. I went on to do some research and decided I was going to start with Article Marketing. I would build a website, and start blogging on it, writing articles, and submit those articles to the top directories, ezines, forums and so on, to publish myself, and ultimate earn trust with good solid information. I will be honest I didn’t know a lot about what I was doing, but I got into action anyway.

Traveling along now. My story there is very basic I know, but it is a very simple thing marketing online I discovered. Not having good guidance and knowledge before starting, is what cost me thousands of dollars, and I hope that I can prevent that from happening to you. I joined a very good team of people, and I have since created a good team of my own, which you may want to join.

Marketing Online is simple, but it is really down to knowing the ‘correct’ way of going about it. I want to be successful, but in doing that I want to give back and help others do exactly the same.

To start earning online, you need a business or someone to work for and earn money from. There is no shortage of opportunities online, so be careful and do your research. Do what you feel good about, and that makes you interested. Again, you must be motivated, and have the fire in your belly to make it. It’s a very competitive market, and everyone can make a good living, but you must apply yourself.
