It is likely that you are reading this article because you heard how beneficial article-writing is to get Search Engine traffic and to improve your website top rankings. Am I correct? I thought so.
There is more to article-writing than you suspect. The reason is the large number of publications written by unscrupulous folks exploiting ignorance. Those people tempt us by making us imagine to mass-submit large numbers of our articles to hundreds of websites; then… abracadabra… our website is at the top. They just lead us to believe that it is a proficient and competent way to gain Search Engine traffic and gain top rankings for our website.
I am a certified SE Marketing Specialist, and I tell you “DO NOT DO IT !”. The humans behind Search Engines who send us traffic to our websites already thought of it. They call it “Repetition”. They penalize a website using artificial and deceitfully ways to increase Search Engine placement and traffic.
Bring up the chair, read on, and you then decide.
1a.- You write large number of articles and mass-submit them to 80 websites. When Search Engines find them, you have a problem hard to defuse. Spiders want unique content in EACH web page but you naively gave spiders 80 copies of the same article. The spiders tell the humans that run them, and those guys see you coming with malice in your eyes. Ouch !
2a.- Search Engines are reluctunt to increase placement of web pages which are not updated. Humans behind instruct spiders to conceive them as providers of obsolete content. The folks inculcating you to write large number of articles AND to mass-submit them got you into the mountain-like job of regualrly updating EACH article with fresh content; and if you do not, spiders will find the incriminating links pointing to your website. Ouch again !
3a.- Assuming you are writing good articles and web site owners see them worth publishing in their websites, your articles are found ~firstly~ in the websites you mass-submit them to and ~secondly~ in more and more private websites which you cannot access to update your articles. You are sinking in quicksand. Help !
4a.- The majority of websites accepting the articles you submit to have a rather low PageRank. As a result, your articles appear in what I call “Bad Neighborhoods”. You want your articles published in websites with a PageRank of 5 or better.
If you can see through what you just read, it is more beneficial to stick to few and highly reputable websites. This is why:
1b.- Your work is found by spiders in “Good Neighborhoods”.
2b.- You access your articles and keep them updated with fresh content.
3b.- Website owners find and publish your articles which you update regualrly ~and consequently~ they are not duplicates.
When you conceive your acts in this way, and read material like my Chapter 5 on Article Writing Secrets ~which is now available for a small fee~ your website begins climbing, and I’ll see you at the top. Trust me.
